Induction into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame denotes an very high level of achievement in motorcycling in Canada and as such, not everyone nominated is selected for induction.

How are Hall of Fame inductees chosen?

Nominations can be made at any time and will be considered each year. If not selected, nominations are held on file and reviewed in the next two years the banquet is held in the area of the nominee. Please be sure to enclose sufficient support material so that the selection committee can make a good determination – hard copies can be sent to the address at the bottom of this page.

To ensure fair consideration by the Selection Committee, please provide the most comprehensive support possible. Well-supported nominations are more likely to succeed. The Selection Committee will not do the research for a nominee. Support may include but should not be limited to:

  •  Short summary of why person/organization is being nominated
  •  Short biography describing nominee’s role, specific significant contributions to Canadian Motorcycling, and time period the nominee is/was most influential
  •  Statistics, race results, articles/news releases. Note: any claims of awards, standings, etc. must besubstantiated in order to be considered
  •  Any letters of reference, support materials noting impact nominee has had in their field of expertise
  •  At least one photograph of nominee.
